2. Loyalty Programs
Loyalty programs are a great way to reward frequent buyers. One of the best producing systems are a point based program, that allows frequent users to redeem points towards purchases. Promoting double points or added points at certain events are some ways to increase client interaction. Combine it with Social Media and rewards can be given on Facebook check-ins.
3. Hold Store Events
Having an open house is a great reason for having a sale or promotion. This is a great way to get your potential clients in your store. Having a cook-out and/or leveraging a live radio broadcast can contribute to a successful event. This also is best when used in conjunction with a Facebook Event boost. The same strategy can be applied to having a customer appreciation or a Holiday party.
4. Leverage Social Media
If you haven’t done this already, you are definitely missing out, even if you are not selling online. Social media is a great tool to keep your business relevant and up-to-date with current business. It is important to work with someone who knows the ins and outs of social media advertising, or at least do some research before investing. Social Media platforms change in popularity and some have better returns on the investment than others.
5. Start a YouTube Channel
With the younger tech savvy customers, doing research on products has become second nature. Creating a YouTube channel helps get your name out for your top products, showing your involvement and/or commitment to the brand. Not to mention it helps with SEO and the possibility of being found for relevant searches.
6. Make an appearance at a Local Fair or Farmers Market
As the summer gets closer, potential customers are out and about trying to enjoy the weather and outdoor attractions. This is another venue to get in front of customers who may have seen your store or passed by it previously. You may be able to showcase different items that you normally do not have set-up in your store.
